Port

The port is mainly used as an aanmeer place for pleasure boats of all kinds, but this port is also still a real fishing port. This fleet arrives in the port in the afternoon around 16.00 hrs to 16.30, after which there is always a fish auction.

Around the harbour you will also find many cosy restaurants specialising in fish and seafood. The shop windows of these restaurants are definitely worth checking out as you make a detour along the harbour.
